Request Wellness Education
Are you interested in having your group or class participate in wellness education and activities? Would you like to incorporate a wellness focus in an upcoming event you are planning? This is a great way to enhance knowledge and engage group members in a healthier lifestyle.
What is Available?
- Online education and assessments
- Presentations and workshops
- Information table staffed by peer educators
- Consultation to assist you in planning a program for your group
- Class credit for student participation in wellness programs and activities
Request Wellness Education
Please submit your Request Wellness Education Webform two or more weeks in advance.
- Facilitated education. Presentations, trainings and discussions are led by a peer educator, health educator, counselor, physician or other health professional.
- Wellness consultation. Would you like assistance with planning a wellness program for your group? ASU health and wellness professionals and peer educators are available to discuss your program needs, and assist you in developing a plan that addresses the health behaviors and topics of interest to your group.
- Wellness resource table. Information tables are frequently hosted at wellness programs to address specific issues as a part of a function, such as a wellness fair, housing fair or residential college event. Wellness resource tables are presented by peer educators or professional staff, depending on the program need.
- Class credit for participation. If you are a professor or instructor, you can include wellness programs outside the classroom in your syllabus for class credit or extra-credit. A member of the wellness team will help you determine an appropriate proof of attendance, depending on the event.
Requests
Please submit your Request Wellness Education Webform two or more weeks in advance. Once you submit your information you will receive an automated confirmation email and a member of the wellness team will contact you within 2 business days to confirm and coordinate your request. If you do not receive an email within 2 business days of your submitted request, please notify wellness@asu.edu.
