This presentation encourages students to “build their best you” by being aware of choices and making decisions toward a more balanced, healthy lifestyle. Students will learn about the foundational elements of physical, emotional, academic, and social well-being.
This presentation provides information on SMART goals and effective time management strategies. Students will learn how to enhance goal setting practices and prioritize commitments for increased academic and professional performance.
This presentation addresses the basics of stress and its impact on academic performance and overall health. Students will learn about common stressors and the benefits of using proactive strategies for coping with stress.
This presentation addresses basic nutrients and the importance of balanced nutrition. Students will learn how healthy eating practices impact various areas of well-being.
This presentation provides students with an opportunity to create their own healthy, non-alcoholic beverage. The goal is to create a sense of belonging while establishing a caring community that educates students on the risks of underage and high risk drinking that values individuals' choices to not consume alcohol.
This presentation addresses how personal values and goals need to be supported by individual choices. Students will develop their own personal informed stance related to choices about using alcohol, cannabis (marijuana), nicotine (tobacco), caffeine, and other illicit drugs while understanding the importance of safely taking prescription medication and knowing how to respond in social situations.
This presentation does a deep dive into fentanyl, counterfeit pills, and how to administer the over-the-counter, life-saving nasal spray called Naloxone.
This is an educational program for faculty, staff and student leaders across ASU and within the community. This program is based on the principles of motivational interviewing and facilitated by professional staff.
