So, I actually normally go to the gym five times out of the week. I haven’t been able to get back on that schedule yet, I’m still trying to fit it in with my school schedule. I feel like I’ve been adjusting pretty well back to the homework. I’m normally on a pretty consistent work schedule, so fitting in school wasn’t too difficult.
I think for my first week, it went pretty well. My teachers are very nice and helpful. I think I’ve got all the resources I need to be successful.
I have 17 credits. I’m in costuming, storytelling, movement, and WAC. I think my favorite class will be my costuming class. It’s got a three-hour lab, and we do costumes for dance and ajax. I’ve never done anything like that before, so it’s really going to be interesting.

So far I feel like I’ve had a lot of assignments, but I time-manage well. I have time for it, so I’m not concerned about it.
I have 14 credits. I am taking English 102, and I like it so far. Math 270, not my favorite. Philosophy 103, it’s probably my favorite. CSE 110, it’s like a programming class that I didn’t know I had to take. It’s not the best.
I like most of my professors. I like my English professor and my Philosophy professor. I’ve switched out of my programming class to change professors because my original one wasn’t the best. I didn’t know what was going on. I’m looking forward to my Philosophy class. It’s just the most interesting so far, and I’m looking forward to learning more about it. It’s like a logic-based class, and that’s what I like because I’m a logical person. We’re learning about arguments, like what makes an argument logical, is it true or false?
Fitness-wise, I haven’t really been doing much this year, but I’ve been trying to eat healthier. I’m trying to cut out processed sugar.

This semester has been easier than expected because I have a pretty defined schedule. Having a set schedule and sticking to that for the most part. Having a routine helps. I’m taking upper division physics and chemistry, so chemistry lab and then a couple physics classes. I have the schedule I mostly have to do to graduate. I don’t really have much room to change it.
I just got out of a grad level spectroscopy class for Chemistry, and that’s really cool. It’s looking at the effect of the interaction of light and matter on a molecular level, and how you can use that to measure and calculate things.
As for fitness, I’ve started out with what I want to do and what I want to be the habit, and we’ll see if I can stick with it over the upcoming months. But, yeah I started off with what I want to do. My goal right now is two to three days a week which is what I can most likely fit in my schedule.

I’m taking 18 credits this semester, so the homework is kind of heavy. I’m doing my research project right now. I’m just reading research papers to understand the definitions and all that for engineering because I don’t know that much. It’s like a NASA part that we’re going to be fixing.
All of my classes are really hard. I like math a lot, and it’s really challenging. I’m done with all of my math classes — they’re all mechanical engineering right now. But, they have a lot of math in them. I’ve had to switch a lot of classes because my schedule didn’t work with 18 credits. I had seven-to-seven classes back-to-back on Thursdays, so it was just not good. So, I made it more spread out.
I’m starting to get back into fitness since there’s the SDFC on campus. I want to run three miles without stopping. I am very bad at running. I probably won’t be able to try every single day just because I’m so busy. I like to run in the mornings.
