What’s going on, Sun Devils? Your boy Julio is back with some more Gym Bangers. Lately I’ve been going out for runs, and I wanted to share some songs I’ve been bumping. Check out these hot tracks, and if you like them maybe you can add them to your own playlist. Enjoy!

“CUDDLE MY WRIST” – FUTURE

Make time for yourself

As important as social interaction is, a healthy dose of alone time isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Don’t be afraid to say “no” to plans if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Being alone gives you time to relax and recharge. You can also reflect on the day that was and get creative with plans for the following day. When you have time to yourself, you have the space to identify your needs and tend to them.

If you love upbeat radio hits and burning calories, then Grind is for you! The class is a series of hip-hop dance combinations set to popular music. The dances are cardio-heavy and engage many body parts, but most of them center around shaking the hips.

The instructor, Danny, was helpful and motivating. He shouted constant words of encouragement and never stopped smiling. He explained that, at its simplest, Grind “is a class that focuses mainly on squeezing the core and the different movements that the hips can do.”

“Devils in Depth” is a project that gets down to earth and captures the diversity of Arizona State’s student population. We engage in conversations with students in an effort to learn more about their passions and get a feel for who they really are.

Julio Lugo is a Copy Writer at the SDFC and one of the minds behind Devils in Depth. In Part Two of the two-part series, co-author Jeremy Beren sat down with Julio and asked him his thoughts on the themes covered this semester.

The Sun Devil Fitness Complex has a wide variety of group wellness classes. Some students may be afraid to try new things or may have never even heard of the wellness classes that ASU provides. That’s where I come in. I’m here to show everyone what these classes are all about by sharing my experience in hopes that it may encourage others to try the class as well.

This time I decided to try out the Piladance class. I didn’t know what to expect going into the class and I don’t mind doing some dancing. On any occasion, my go-to dances are hittin’ my folk or milly rocking like so.

Hello everyone! Your boy is back with some bangers that you can add to your playlists. Just a little post for you guys to get to know me a little better rather than just the content we have been producing.

The ASU Quidditch program made a fantastic start of the year. Their ASU team placed 2nd in their Regional tournament, winning an automatic bid to the National Tournament in Texas! Their second team, Sun Devil Quidditch (SDQ) worked solidly in the tournament as well, earning an At-Large-Bid to the National Tournament as well! This means for the first time in organization history, two teams will be competing at the biggest Quidditch stage possible-- an enormous win for Sun Devil Sport Clubs!
