Healthy and Festive Saint Patrick’s Day Smoothies

  

Green smoothies are a great way to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.  Not only are they delicious, but they are also nutritious. Here are our favorite recipes just for you!

Vanilla-Banana Smoothie (With a twist!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 scoop low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • Green food coloring

Steps:

  1.  Cut banana into even chunks
  2.  Put ingredients in blender in any order
  3. Press mix button until thoroughly blended
  4.  Add food coloring to desired shade of green

Matcha Pear Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Vega One All in One Nutritional Shake Tub, French Vanilla
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 pear, cored
  • 1/2 teaspoon of matcha tea powder

Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
