Consent and Respect is an online education program designed to enhance awareness of sexual violence, intimate partner violence and stalking and their impact on college students, the importance of consent and respect in sexual situations, prevention and risk reduction strategies, as well as critical information on what to do if you or someone you know has any of these experiences.
There are many other ASU resources available for additional education on these topics:
This course takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Note: Consent and Respect is included as the last chapter of the online courses, Alcohol-Wise, and Under the Influence. If you have completed Alcohol-Wise or Under the Influence since August 2015, you have already participated in Consent and Respect and do not need to repeat the training.
ASU is committed to continuing to address this complex issue so while you will not be required to take this particular module again, you can anticipate that there will be other educational offerings in the future.
If you are a member of the faculty or staff who wishes to take Consent and Respect, please follow the instructions below. Please note that faculty and staff are required to take the Title IX and Your Duty To Report online course available through the Title IX Office at ASU. Consent and Respect does not meet this requirement.
Any member of the ASU community is welcome to take Consent and Respect. If you are a member of the ASU community who wishes to take Consent and Respect, please follow the instructions below.
