The ASU Quidditch program made a fantastic start of the year. Their ASU team placed 2nd in their Regional tournament, winning an automatic bid to the National Tournament in Texas! Their second team, Sun Devil Quidditch (SDQ) worked solidly in the tournament as well, earning an At-Large-Bid to the National Tournament as well! This means for the first time in organization history, two teams will be competing at the biggest Quidditch stage possible-- an enormous win for Sun Devil Sport Clubs!

Q: What is the competition? Where is it held? Who will you be competing against?

A: We are competing at Josh-E-Naach on Feb. 10. It’s a three-day event in New York. There is a mixer where all teams come together to mingle, play games, eat dinner and determine the show order lineup through a double-blind game that randomizes the order. After the mixer teams practice into the night to polish their routines.

“Devils in Depth” is a project that gets down to earth and captures the diversity of Arizona State’s student population.
