ASU’s Change the World served as an opportunity for student-run organizations and impactful companies alike to establish an atmosphere that encourages social and scientific education in addition to sweeping change. Here’s what it was like to be a fly on the wall at the March 27 event.

After being greeted with some buttery popcorn and ASU merch, you could begin your journey through the many informative tables and open mic events spread throughout Sun Devil Stadium.

The following is an exclusive interview with Dena White, the Head of U.S. Marketing for Dutch company Tony’s Chocolonely. This interview took place at ASU’s Change the World event on March 27.

“The goal of having this truck here is to continue to spread awareness and create issue awareness that there is in fact slavery in the coco industry. Slavery can mean a lot of different things. We have this perception based on the narrative in our history books and what we learned slavery is. But we’re talking about modern slavery and illegal child labor.

Whether it is to build your strength and endurance, keep organized, ace all your spring classes, or any other goal you want to crush this new year, here are some tips to help you create a better you in 2022.

Vinyasa is a popular style of yoga that focuses on dynamic, flowing sequences of poses. This Vinyasa class, taught by Hannah Rose, is great for beginners and experienced yogis, as you can tailor the moves to your preferred level of difficulty. 

The workshop has a heavy emphasis on balancing poses, core strengthening, and inversions. Mindfulness is also explored during the session, and you get the chance to be meditative as you execute your poses.

The Sun Devil Fitness Complex has a wide variety of group wellness classes. Some students may be afraid to try new things or may have never even heard of the wellness classes that ASU provides. That’s where I come in. I’m here to show everyone what these classes are all about by sharing my experience in hopes that it may encourage others to try the class as well.

This time I decided to try out the Piladance class. I didn’t know what to expect going into the class and I don’t mind doing some dancing. On any occasion, my go-to dances are hittin’ my folk or milly rocking like so.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tenth season of Ryan Murphy’s FX horror anthology was pushed back to 2021. However, now that the pandemic is moving in a better direction, Ryan Murphy and the gang are filming the new season. Ryan Murphy recently revealed on social media that the tenth season would be subtitled “Double Feature.”
